‘ riley ! —- — riley !’ by obvious determination, there’s almost a forgotten hint of compassion, or even conscience from the acts of attempting to get a word from quite the legend around the parts. a legend that got out of death by PURE luck. silly move on the killer’s part, huh ? ‘ — how are you ? with the recovery, and all. ’ but, even the simplest of questions aren’t completely dodged, as an attempt of respect if given, and hopefully, accepted.

the past few days have been, for lack of better word, hectic:riley BARELY has any time for herself between her friends coming to SEE her, her parents hovering OVER her, police CONSTANTLY questioning her & ( speak of the devil! )nosy reporters who want to know every GORY detail of what happened on that roof. the culmination of all those outside forces was beginning to make riley want to explode. however, the way SHE saw it, piper hadn’t done anything to her —— BESIDES ask about being questioned —— so there was no reason to yell at her or go off, even though she definitely wanted to.

❜ riley brushes a strand of hair behind her ear as she listens to what the woman has to say. her eyes harden for a moment when she hears the words ‘ QUESTION ‘ & ‘ PODCAST ‘ but she manages to fix her expression before pursing her lips. a sigh falls from her lips ( is it annoyance ?? is is to prepare herself ?? she doesn’t know. )and she looks up at the older woman.
